Soil Analysis Service

In today’s competitivesoil_1.jpg Sportsturf and landscape industry, greenkeepers and grounds-people are under increasing pressure not only to provide a surface that is attractive to look at, but also one that performs to a consistently high standard.

Understanding your soil in relation to its balance of nutrients is ultimately an essential requirement in the development and successful management of high quality turf. The initial step in formulating a comprehension nutrient plan for your turf is fundamentally the analysis of the soil and its nutrient levels. However the effective interpretation of such data is also vitally important to assist and improve the turf quality.

With our extensive turfgrass knowledge, TurfCare realises the significant nutrient variations that exist and more importantly the different needs that various soil types require. Elements such as wear & tear, degree of traffic, soil types and the effects of climate and geographical location all culminate to ensure that each soil sample is unique and requires an individual nutrient programme.

So what does the TurfCare Soil Analysis provide?

Ultimately TurfCare aim to provide turf managers with the most advanced independent diagnostic services in the world to understand and predict their soils’ ability to sustain intensively managed grass. This is completed with the assistance of Analysis International and their pioneering soil evaluation system – AnaLync. biotesttubles.jpg

Unlike other laboratory reports which are based on agricultural soils, often from limited geographical areas, AnaLync has calibrated over 40,000 golf course and sports field samples from over forty countries around the world. Interpretations are based on data point calibrations of statistically valid samplings for virtually all climatic zones and soil types found on sports turf.

The key AnaLync difference lies in its ability to:
  • Quantify the sufficiency of both reserve and plant available soil nutrient supplies.

  • Identify problematic soil conditions, including those introduced by irrigation water, which might compromise the well-being and quality of grass.

  • Provide a precise snapshot view of Nitrogen levels.

  • Relates combined information to chemical, physical and microbial soil functioning.

The process could not be simpler. Your local TurfCare Representative only has to take a small sample of your soil and once analysed we will provide you with a full nutrient programme that will give you a complete 3 dimensional view of your soil.

This complimentary service provided by TurfCare and used in tandem with your knowledge and experience of your course, sports pitch or green area, provides an extraordinarily independent effective tool to help achieve consistently high quality and durable turf.
